:: VIP Event at Colorado Construction Career Days

What Is It?

Every year the Colorado Construction Career Days planning committee invites state and local legislators, mayors, school district superintendents, school board members, and many other community leaders to visit the event and see first-hand the true impact of the event on Colorado high school students.

The CCCD VIP reception and tour will be held on October 7th, from 8-10:30 a.m. at the Adams County Fairgrounds, located at 9755 Henderson Road, Brighton, Colorado 80601. Save the Date on your calendar! See more information.

The goal of this event is to show educators how important technical, math and science programs are to our industry, for legislators to understand why our industry needs their support, and to keep our industry members excited and involved in teaching the next generation of students about construction careers. The VIP event provides a place for people who are passionate about the design, construction, and green energy industry, as well as those who are new to it, to meet and make connections that will allow us to continue to improve our industry by attracting, educating, and training the best and brightest people possible.

The academic community and our previous attendees have told us that they are truly impressed by how this industry is able to provide such an interactive event while educating students on careers. They tell us it is a “one-of-a-kind” experience for students. We hope that you will join us to see for yourself how Colorado Construction Career Days works toward the goal of building a future workforce to meet our state’s future economic and growth needs and to help us to make it even more successful in years to come.

This year, the Constructors and Designers Alliance (CDA), will be holding their Fall Social in conjunction with the VIP event. The CDA raises thousands of dollars to support the event every year, and will have a chance to see first-hand what their efforts are supporting.
