:: Colorado Construction Industry Job Fair
Construction Career Job Fair News

The industry is taking all measures to continue training a skilled workforce while creating jobs, constructing buildings, roads, bridges, and crucial community infrastructure. The need to recruit and hire a construction workforce is as great as ever as people continue to retire, are promoted into other positions, and move to other parts of the country.

Current economic conditions have caused a temporary slowdown for the industry. However, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) is expected to create jobs and encourage new construction projects. Watch this site for information about the 2010 Job Fair.

Why a Construction Industry Job Fair?

Colorado Construction Industry Job Fair

A construction industry Job Fair is the best way to bring the construction career days experience full circle by providing a pipeline directly to the companies hiring and to the available Training and Apprenticeship Programs. The Job Fair is the link that brings interested students and young people to companies needing to fill construction job vacancies. It provides the opportunity to network, submit resumes, have initial interviews and even be hired right on the spot.

Companies participate to inform and recruit potential job candidates while the Training and Apprenticeship Programs recruit potential candidates for their programs. The participating companies are there with jobs to fill. And many of the companies have jobs available for all levels, whether it is for an Asphalt Technician, a Program Manager, an Equipment Operator, Mason, Estimator, Foreman, carpenter, electrician or a carpenter or electrician-to-be. Join us at the Job Fairs to hire or to be hired.
