What is the CDA Silent Auction?

The CDA Silent Auction is the premier fundraising event to support Colorado Construction Career Days, an industry-sponsored event that provides high school students, grades 10 through 12, with an opportunity to experience the various areas of construction, including design and engineering. Attendees can mingle, network, share food and drinks, enjoy music, and have fun with the 23 construction and design related associations listed above and their member companies.

Colorado Construction Career Days attracts our industry’s future generations and energizes, excites, and educates the future workforce on the benefits of working in construction and design. For 2011, the energy industry is providing more activities to promote their role in the construction industry to students making career decisions. Every student will have an opportunity to experience a hands-on activity from one of the fastest growing sectors of the design, engineering and construction industry.

What is the CDA?

The Constructors and Designers Alliance (CDA) is an alliance of 23 construction and design industry related associations representing the many facets of the construction industry. CDA works cooperatively to represent the interest of its member associations and their member companies to: help develop and support sound laws and practices; conduct jointly sponsored educational, social, and other events; promote better relationships and avoid duplication of efforts between the member associations and the firms who are members of each CDA member association.
